Königshof Restaurant in Munich (rated 1 Michelin Star and 18 Gault Millau Points in December 2015 when I visited it), is the right place for a charming lunch or a romantic dinner. The restaurant, which is in the Stachus Plaza, has a panoramic view and offers an elegant atmosphere. Chef de Cuisine, Martin Fauster and his team are hard-working, given the fact that the restaurant is among the few Michelin starred restaurants in Munich which serve both lunch and dinner, which involves a great effort, a lot of hours spent in the kitchen and serving the clients.
We had a good time, enjoying good food and good wine. But from my point of view, the surprise is something which missed from this experience. Everything was correctly executed, according to the standards of an one star Michelin restaurant. But everything I had here (foie gras, king prawns, pigeon or crepe), I’ve already had before in restaurants which dared for more, as Mark’s, for example, which put more creativity and courage …on the plate.Ce ar fi dacă ați subscrie la acest blog?
